War Memorial Opera House

A gem in San Francisco’s architectural crown, the 3,146-seat War Memorial Opera House is a California Historical Landmark. The building has been the home of San Francisco Opera since it opened on October 15, 1932 with a performance of Giacomo Puccini’s Tosca.

Diane B. Wilsey Center for Opera

Located on the 4th floor of the Veterans Building and featuring the 299-seat Dianne and Tad Taube Atrium Theater, the John M. Bryan Education Studio for student, family and adult programs and the Edward Paul Braby San Francisco Opera Archive.
