BRAVO! CLUB’s Board of Directors is comprised of dynamic, social, young professionals dedicated to cultivating a younger audience for San Francisco Opera.

2018 BRAVO! CLUB Board of Directors

Shannon Eliot, President
Shannon is the Communications Manager for Kaiser Permanente, East Bay and is pursuing her M.B.A. at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business. She earned a B.S. in physiology and neuroscience and a B.A. in political science from the University of California, San Diego.

Arif Damji, Vice President
Arif is currently the Director of Innovation at Kosta Browne Winery and has a passion for helping brands improve their customer loyalty and growth initiatives. He holds a graduate degree from Stanford University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Cambridge.

Xanadu Bruggers, Secretary
Xanadu is a Senior Assistant to the Consumer Products team at Pixar Animation Studios and she has a B.F.A. with a Theatre Performance emphasis from Cornish College of the Arts. She is an active member in the fringe theater scene in San Francisco, as well as a co-chair for the Charity Outreach Committee with the Spinsters of San Francisco.

Rachel Bier Lem
Rachel uses her forestry background to conserve land for people at the Trust for Public Land. She has a Master's in Forestry and a B.S. in conservation and resource studies from University of California, Berkeley.

Keith Cantrelle
Keith is an Associate Counsel at Summit Public Schools and holds an LL.M. in European Union Business Law from the Universiteit van Amsterdam. A firm believer in giving back to the community, he has participated in Asylum and Veterans pro bono initiatives, and previously served as assistant clarinetist in the Greenwich Village Orchestra and as a soloist and principal clarinetist in the United States Army Europe Band & Chorus.

Laura Della Guardia
Laura is a French-American mixed-media artist with a degree in Fine Arts from Ecole Camondo in Paris. She is also a Vinyasa yoga instructor and an advertising executive specialized in emerging economies.

Leah Fine
Leah is a consultant at Bain & Company. She holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a B.A. from Barnard College, and has been attending the San Francisco Opera since she was six years old.

Alex Jakle
Alex is a consultant with Trial Behavior in San Francisco, working with attorneys to rigorously test and refine their case themes and arguments. He attended Pomona College and received a graduate degree in Political Science and his law degree from the University of Michigan.

Nicole Jiam
Nicole is a resident physician at the University of California – San Francisco Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery with a research interest in music perception, cochlear implants and creativity.  She received her M.D. degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a B.A. in neuroscience. In her free time, she plays the viola, violin and piano.

Andy Krasny
Andy works at Facebook, where he is responsible for strategy and operations. He holds a Master's degree from Barcelona Graduate School of Economics and a Bachelor's from Gettysburg College. In his free time he can be found biking in the mountains above Palo Alto.

Kari Lincks
Kari has extensive experience in publicity and event planning with both arts and non-arts organizations. She is also a social media strategist at Williams-Sonoma and plays the oboe in community symphonies around the Bay Area

Anjali Menon
Anjali works in tech, working at companies such as Twitter, TaskRabbit and a Y Combinator company called Magic, where she is the Head of Growth. She earned a degree in Business Administration from University of California, Berkeley, and used to sing opera.

Nora Quattrin White
Nora is controller at Presidio Farms, a family owned and operated agricultural business based in California. She earned a M.A, in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art in New York  and a B.A. in Cinematic Arts and Art History from the University of Southern California. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at the San Francisco Opera Archives and is a member of the Junior League of San Francisco.

Kristi Symon
Kristi is an Optometrist at Goodman Eye Center in Pacific Heights.  She received her Doctorate in Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, and then completed a residency in the management of Ocular Disease at UC Berkeley.  She earned a B.A. in Psychology at Pomona College.

Susan Walker
Susan is a manager of audit and advisory services specializing in process improvement and risk management for healthcare.  She has a B.A. in neurobiology and linguistics from Cornell and an M.H.A. from University of Illinois, Chicago.
